An understrengh Cadley team came very close to winning this 1st round tie. Trailing 2-0 midway into the second half suddenly found their efforts rewarded with a goal from Gabby Pavone-McMahon & two from Amy Kershaw only to concede a last minute equaliser to take the game into extra-time. With penalties seeming to be the only way to separate the teams Rossendale scored the goal of the game with two minutes remaining & put the game beyond reach with a direct free-kick in the dying seconds. Excellent performances from all the girls with the man of the match going to Emma Templeton.
